Ag-Related Technical Services
The company maintains active research, development and engineering programs in crop research and development, crop protection (integrated pest management), equipment development, and irrigation. While an appropriate technical degree is often preferred, relevant experience and expertise in these areas are also highly valued for employment opportunities.
Farm Management
The company regularly recruits crop supervisors to assume responsibility for all agricultural activities related to the growing of crops assigned to them. Our crop supervisors participate in planning and budgeting as well as supervising the planting, cultivating, spraying, fertilizing and irrigating of their crops. While many successful candidates have a BS degree in Agronomy, Agricultural Economics, or a related field, equivalent experience in farming or agricultural operations is also highly valued.
Harvest Management
Harvesting supervisors manage either field harvest operations or packinghouse lines where vegetables are washed, graded, sized and packed prior to shipment. A college background in business or industrial management is desirable, though the ability to supervise and motivate people is required.
Agriculture Sales & Marketing
Because of the perishable nature of our agricultural commodities, the majority of our sales are done by telephone with follow-up visits to customers in the offseason. Most sales trainees have a BS in Marketing, Ag Economics or a related area. The sales division is supported by programs involving national accounts, market research and advertising.
Ranch Management
The company has a variety of real estate and agricultural operations and often puts its underdeveloped land base to productive use in various agricultural pursuits, including cattle, sugarcane, sod and citrus. DUDA regularly recruits supervisors to assume responsibilities related to ranch and agriculture management in these areas.

Duran Golf Club has a variety of opportunities in golf course operations, food and beverage, sales and marketing and management. Some positions include golf shop staff, starters, rangers, golf cart maintenance, locker room attendants, golf course maintenance, event planning, cooks and food servers.
